Check for Errors

1. When you upload sales from a .csv file there will be a link to Check for Errors.

2. Click on the Check for Errors link to see if there are any errors.

3. If there are no errors continue to the Active Sales page to make sure that each column is filled in.

4. If there is missing column information you should Delete Sales and fix your csv file and upload again.

5. If there are errors noted on the Check for Errors page it is indicating that the .csv file has incorrect information such as a letter in a number field or an incorrect date format. If there are many errors it is better to delete the sales and open the .csv file on your desktop and edit the sales directly in the .csv file.

6. If there are only a few errors click on the address to fix the error.

7. Contract date and sold date errors will need you to change the format to YYYY-MM-DD.

8. Errors that have a letter in a number field such as Location will indicate an E in the field. To fix this enter the correct number.

9. IMPORTANT! If a sale has multiple errors you need to fix each error before clicking Submit or it will still indicate errors and the errors you fixed for that sale will need to be fixed again.
